Position Overview

As the Director or VP of Finance, you will oversee all accounting, finance, treasury, administrative and legal functions of the business.  As a member of the company’s leadership team, you will work closely with other leaders to plan, execute and monitor critical initiatives that support the continued growth of the business.   You will continue to evolve the company’s financial foundation by continuously improving critical processes, systems and metrics that enhance visibility and decision making.   Additionally, you will lead the executive team in planning and forecasting the business, ensure timely dialog on critical revenue, expense and cash matters and interface with investors and lenders to provide regular updates and guidance.   We are looking for a hands-on, motivated leader who works well in a fast-paced environment.



  • Maintain and evolve robust accounting and financial processes as the business continues to grow
  • Partner with leaders to model and analyze key initiatives and expected impact on the business
  • Lead the company’s planning, budgeting and reporting processes
  • Regularly maintain and update the company’s financial plans and forecasts
  • Provide in-depth analysis of key drivers of the business including customer contribution, revenue mix, expense management and other key variables
  • Oversee contract management including review and approval of formalized agreements with customers and other parties
  • Actively manage the company’s liquidity and cash position on a daily, weekly, monthly and longer-term basis (blend of near-term and long-term focus)
  • Work with lenders and other financial parties to establish, maintain, report and/or negotiate arrangements
  • Manage and administer financial payments related to employee incentive and sales commission plans
  • Work closely with the company’s private equity investor, providing regular updates and responding to analytic and other requests as needed
  • Oversee the annual audit and relationships with audit, tax and other 3rd parties
  • Oversee preparation of board materials and coordination of quarterly board meetings



  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Successful software industry experience with emphasis on SaaS
  • Significant experience working with GAAP requirements for software companies
  • Familiarity and experience with channel and reseller business models
  • Strong analytic skills coupled with an ability to anticipate and plan ahead
  • Proven ability to proactively manage and work with lenders and other financial parties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intellectually curious mindset with a strong business orientation
  • Self initiating leader – presents ideas, takes action and drives change
  • CPA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
